So far in the garden I have tomatoes, cucumbers, collards, carrots, radishes, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, eggplant, onions, beets, marigolds, thyme, dill, lettuce, peas, and summer squash.  I still a long way to go and need to do it soon!

I still need to plant the deck garden.

You are a LOT more ambitious than I! For the first time in my married life I have put in, with help, a real garden! I paid a man to till it for me but did not realize till later how square it came out. It is a little more than 16 foot in each direction.
I have planted onions, one six pack of yellow onions, around two sides hoping to deter the woodchucks, I heard they don't like onion or garlic.By the way, I know nothing about growing onions other than that you stick them in the ground and check at some point for onions in the dirt.
I planted 6 tomatoe plants and will have to find some tomato cages before they get too much bigger, the plants, not the cages. Smile
I have just one watermelon plant I put in on a mound of dirt in a sunny (?) corner of the garden. I have some summer squash plants, 3 to be exact, and 2 cucumber plants. I also have 3 or 4 sugar snap pea plants which I put near poles. Aside from that all I have is a sixpack of lettuce, butter something lettuce, not sure what. I just went to the nursery  around the corner and got some already sprouted stuff. I had to go to another one for the cucumbers and only got two because they were more expensive than I had expected.
Come to think of it, I really don't know much about the peas or the lettuce either. I guess I should read that garden helps book I have huh!
I still need to get marrigolds and I need to get some compost stuff but it has been raining on and off since the day I planted stuff so I have not done anything else but throw some worms in there. I have , hopefully, a fence system that the woodchucks and bunnies will not figure out how to breach. I did see weeds coming up in there so I guess I will have to get busy soon huh. Smile

A person cannot plant if a person can't even leave the house for lightning....

I've planted more on the deck.  Squash, basil, parsley, dill, oregano, rosemary, sage, bell peppers, California Wonder peppers, pumpkins(really), onions, etc.
