A newbie here.  Never really been on forums.  My hubby found this one and we both thought it looked good.  I have two children; a son 10, a daughter 7.  The public school system in our opinion stinks and the elementary school that our children would have attended is known for the children muling drugs.  Not a healthy environment in our opinion.  So we elected to home school.   The home schooling worked out better because  our daughter is dyslexic and our son has a comprehension issue.  We like the fact that this is a Christian forum and it appears it could have a supportive attitude from its members.

Can't wait to meet others who are home schooled and home school parents.

Welcome!  It's great to have you here!  I'm a homeschooling mom of seven children, six of which are school age.  One of the best aspects of homeschooling is that you can tailor it to fit the specific needs of your own children.

We live on a farm where we raise cattle, chickens, rabbits, (and cats Laughing ).  We also milk our own cows for our own use, as well as a few friends, as well as making a lot of butter.  My husband is a university professor and we pastor two small churches.

Hope to "see" you around often!

Leah Mr. Green
